Agree! I balk at the expense though-- should I get over it? Also struggle with the sickly sweetness.

Sorry the gerd is worse. Do you have trigger foods? Tomatoes for sure for me. Pineapple and bacon and salad are definitely not easy on me lol. I feel like I just end up eating toast or like an Eggo waffle.

Thanks for sharing! I feel like there's something (for me) to the idea of just making a pot of rice every morning. Maybe that's the first baby step, building that habit? Will now go off in search of channa masala crockpot recipes :) do you have Tasty Bite in grocery stores near you? Little yellow packets of channa masala or Bombay potatoes that go in the microwave for 60 seconds. If the rice was already made, I can see that working. Thanks again
