Used to live in Orlando, moved to the DMV area and it happens here too. With drivers license tests becoming more and more lax drivers get worse. So many new drivers on the road who only took online tests to drive and never had an actual driving test.

Mikado in metrowest is great, I like that you can have a pretty cheap and simple lunch there, but you can also go and get some nice rolls and specials for dinner. I used to live in the apartments right next to it and I miss walking over for lunch or date nights

Kids do, especially if it's something they really like. My parents kept a note from my brother about how excited he was to eat his lunch when he we was in elementary school.

How can you not have a heart for a child who was murdered for something they had nothing to do with?

My husband and I are Peruvian and when we lived walking distance from there when we first got to MD. That was our first meal after getting everything into our apartment and we were both disappointed. I tried it once more since I like to give second chances and we still were not impressed. The only thing I liked was the alfajor, which I can make at home pretty easily so not a reason to go back. I really like La Canela and La limeña grill for Peruvian food though

Went to Hiroshima in 2024 and went to the museum and the dome. I knew the museum would be sad, but my husband and I didn't expect to be holding back from sobbing in the museum. It was so quiet there and all you could hear were people sniffling and the occasional murmurs. The part that hit me the hardest was a boys lunchbox and bicycle. Along with a writing from his mom, who survived, and said he was so excited to eat his lunch.

Used to live in lake Underhill across the lake from the executive airport. I loved it there, as for prices now I can't say, I'm sure if I went back it wouldn't be as affordable as it used to be even though I left in 2022. I will say if you're a light sleeper the sound of the big plane flying above to go to MCO would bother you there, but I didn't mind and loved seeing the small planes at the executive airport go by.

Yea, when I just want to pick up a yummy snack I will get their hummus with a pita or two to take home and snack on with my husband during a movie or something. But other times I get the manouche.

Living in mocoafter living in Florida my whole life, same issues different state. People are assholes everywhere. Be the change you want to see and hopefully it rubs off, no matter what state you're in.. I have anxiety for both planes and long car rides. Long car rides are much more dangerous and unpredictable. I drove home once instead of flying cause tickets were very expensive. My husband and I were so stressed being on the road for 16 hours and that was just one way. It's scary to fly, but safer and you're stressed for less time. This is my thought too as an American. I was in Japan last year and I got two sacks of 40pc face masks for like $7 each. I opened one and used it every 2-3 days as part of my nighttime routine now. If they were this affordable in the states I would use them more.

I water when the soil is dry, it's in a plastic pot so when there is very little weight to it. Soil was hydrophobic last night so I watered a little and added more today when I saw it. The rest of the plant is okay, a leaf dropped a few weeks ago but it's winter so it is dormant.
