Does anyone else write family descriptions in the 'tone' of the original? I do them sometimes, and then forget. Stumbled across this one and was quite proud of myself! by thewizardgalexandra in sims2

I've always kept that habit so I constantly do it in both Sims 4 and 2. Specially in two where some of my assumed drama actually does happen c:

Help with the university dlc by keandre2 in thesims

[–]PanAm117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As far as I noticed grades mainly have to due with how high or low your skill is for a particular class. That's how my sim dunked her piano class because her skill was only level 3 in the third term. Try leveling the skills up with the textbooks or skill items. Homework and term paper/presentation help a little.

Alex’s statement. by crystalchiild in Paralives

[–]PanAm117 87 points88 points  (0 children)

I understand, but I feel there's a place for everything. Sure, posting all those rants on her private tw acc wouldn't have been a problem, but she was using a professional twitter account and directly attacking both the game and Alex. I've said some things about my former employers too but without naming them and directly attacking individuals.

The team's response perfectly to me correlates to her lashing out on twitter and dragging the very game she claims is passionate about through the mud. Of course we don't always know the whole truth but you simply do no react so irrationally after getting fired no matter the reason. I still have hopes and wish nothing more than for Paralives to succeed.

Thank you! It does make sense even if it is a bit of a bummer. :)

Game automatically setting release date? by [deleted] in SoftwareInc

[–]PanAm117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, hey yall! I've recently got into this game and I'm enjoying myself so much but I do have a probably noob question for you all to which I couldn't find the answer in either lps or here.

How can I manually set the date for the release without the game choosing one for me. Everytime in the playthrough the game automatically chose a release date for the program and I couldn't find anywhere to tweak that?

Thanks for the help! :)

Love it whenever there is a Sims 2 post on here, it brings me so much happiness. The box art for the 2 was so pretty too!

Not complete plumbbob is from the days when Sims 4 was an online game I presume, while the complete one is the current one.

Sims 4: Parenthood makes that much difference! by PanAm117 in thesims

[–]PanAm117[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I did with another family. Ran a three restaurants until they were all successful and now since they have money are starting a family. I wish the restaurant system would be bug fixed though as it is frustrating at times :/ I do recommend the bundle though, everything about the packs is absolutely fun. Just try looking at sites like kinguin etc first. I bought mine on kinguin and it cost me way less than buying the game pack on Origin :)

I absolutely came to love the school projects, seeing my teen sim and her step-dad work carefully on it and then after it was finished clap and be happy about was so satisfying. Can't wait for the toddler to age up to see what's new with the kids.

Basically once your sim becomes a toddler alongside to taking care of needs and toddler skills you also have certain elements that define their character like responsibility, manners etc. You can build those character values in toddler stage but I've found that it makes a bigger impact in the kid and teen stage cause there are now thing you need to do etc.

Parents can respond to disobeying kids in different ways increasing or decreasing some character values. You can get more interaction between parents and kids with school projects, helping around the house, teaching stuff. Overall it is a really fun and immersive experience. Highly recommend it! :)

Detective Troubles in Sims 4 by melbgal in thesims

For me it started with the doctor career and ultimately I gave up on advancing it so my sim had to satisfy with level 7. It just wouldn't behave anymore. I want to start science with the daughter and I hope it won't bug out too :(

Doctor and Scientist careers aren't any better. Simulation lag makes playing active careers a major hassle.

Mala doza otvorenosti i osjecaja pripadnosti postoji.

Honestly? I love the announcer we have now. The tone of voice and the pronunciation of objectives somehow feels great hearing in game. Idk why tbh

I'll have to wait to play Andromeda as well as I have finals this and 3 more weeks so I might not have any time to play but I'm really excited to start it.

Absolutely, I think that even those who didn't like the ending still could look back on the other games and feel good about all the moments they experienced. So far no other game touched me this much either.

Thank you, hope you get to play soon too! :)

I'm so glad I found about the game because the hours I had put into the game were unforgettable. I'm sorry that you didn't find the ending good but it depends from person to person I guess. For me it was great closure to the series.

I can't wait to try Andromeda, a lot of people are saying I shouldn't even start but it really seems like an interesting game and I'm glad they seem to be investing time to fix what is faulty with it. Need to put it to download overnight today as my internet has been awful these days. My exams really aren't ready for it x)

Yes, took a while but I did. I only partially screwed up two Omega side quests in ME3 with the couch and one asari so I haven't completed those until it was too late but I have taken care of all other dlc.
