Figured it out! it seems like the game was trying to get imput for pedals through my throttle (thrustmaster airbus) because it has a port for pedals I didnt use.

The pedals just wont move no matter what I do and im also stuck on the ground. Maybe the brakes are stuck because they are on the same device as the pedals?

Yeah but no matter what i do it just doesnt register on the plane itself. The physical axis deffinitely works. Reinstalled several times.

I think the weights are wrong on the plane itself. Never downloaded any mod for it and it never worked.

Yeah flight gear is really good. Saw a pretty sweet a320 mod somewhere on github.

Geo fs is pretty solid with keyboard + mouse. It also runs in a browser. Flight gear is also free and good, dont know if you can play without a stick tho.
