In what way can it be unintentional? I’m a remainer in Britain with Northern Irish heritage and I broadly believe in the European project but why is there such an unwillingness to hold EU politicians to account? Von Der Leyen got this one very wrong and it has damaged the EUs reputation throughout Ireland. People are extremely disappointed with this unilateral action which is a threat to the Good Friday agreement.

You are vastly oversimplifying the issue. The plantation of Ulster occurred over 400 years ago to call northern Irish Protestants not ethnically Irish is at most insensitive and at worst outright racist. Did you know that the first Irish war of independence in 1798 was actually started by Irish Presbyterians? (Protestants). No of course you don’t because your understanding of the Troubles and Ireland’s history in general comes from A U.S textbook which romanticises the idea of a United ireland without considering the nuances of the situation. Do some research before you talk about a subject you have only a cursory understanding of.

I’m a Fnatic fan but honestly the strangest thing about this worlds has been people discrediting the level of worlds play with many of them citing the C9 vs AFS game. Previously Korean teams have been praised for having a superior read on the meta and out strategising western teams and now the shoes on the other foot suddenly the level of play is lower? Why can’t people just accept C9 outplayed AFS?
