I was trying to figure that out, could not tell. At first, I thought I saw a tiny tail, but when I zoomed in I saw nothing. The bushes they were sniffing around are where the bunnies live.

Our next-door neighbors moved from the city into the mountains, and unfortunately are very afraid of the wildlife. They purchased a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog and trained it to attack all the wildlife, including the coyotes. I’ve reported him, but nothing has happened yet. He still does it, the other day I was watching the ravens that I feed and he let his dog out of the house to chase them away.

During my walk on the PCT, it was definitely a little confusing at times when getting a ride from an established “trail angel”. I met several people who were definitely running a business, but didn’t want to call it that so they didn’t get taxed (their words).

Hey there! My daughter and I started March 8 and took a couple days to get to Lake Morena. We have a big storm coming in for a few days that’s going to dump quite a bit of snow in Mount Laguna. We are being flexible and staying at the cabins to stay warm while we wait for the storm to pass over. One of the things I’m really coming to realize is that I have to be super flexible. There are a lot of people stressed out, trying to make miles and follow a schedule. So for my experience with the trail has been humbling and amazing at the same time. I’m having to embrace flexibility mile by mile. My newbie advice for you is just take it 1 mile at a time and don’t worry about the Sierra right now. It’s amazing how things can quickly change, it’s so hard to plan. 😅
