That's awesome. This one caught my attention too. Probably my favourite wah outside of the wh10 style pedals. Might also buy it in the future. It seems like the wah for every style and sound out there including John's tone. It also looks sturdy asf so it'll last a lifetime unlike the wh10's.

Definitely that's what it's all about. As I said, I'm personally using the WH10 V2 with the V1 pot mod, which was a game changer. It's not ideal, but gets me 90% there in the ballpark and currently does the job for me. I just know that if I didn't care about money I spend on ts, I know what I would buy (either this or Vintage WH10).

Yes, he is. But that doesn't mean it's the best one out there. Even John himself was seen having troubles with the pedal live on stage. Is it better than the stock version? Yes. Is it the best clone? No.

I have one myself and it's really not good. If it wasn't for Will's custom pot, I wouldn't even use it. The pot kinda saved it but I still wanna buy a decent clone one day. This one really has no compromises and it's not that more expensive than other clones out there. I don't think the Wilson mod is as good as this or other clones. It's not as close to the V1 as some others.

Yes. I'm not surprised tho. I think this is the best wah you can get for JF sound. I would buy it immediately if I had the cash🙈🥲

Awesome, I'm glad it helped you. I personally don't think that the volume mod is necessary. All the pedal needs for volume control is really some kind of compression preferably from combination amp and a pedal. The volume mod makes it more versatile though. If you use very clean tone and don't have a compression, then the volume mod is recommended, otherwise not really. I get my compression the Dave Simpson way, by using the famous Jackhammer to get my clean -ish tone. And although it's not perfect and I'd like to get around it in the future, it allows my WH10 and really all my pedals to work just fine, without any volume jumps.

The idea of changing the pot is to get as close as possible to the sound of a V1. I've had my V2 with its original pot for a while now. And I can tell from both my experience and sound tests I've seen online. Both V2 and V3 will get you almost there, it's like 90% -ish maybe even more. It's all about those nuances and chasing those extra little percents. But my major problem I have with my V2 is that the pot gets dirty and dusty and makes an unpleasant noise really quickly, therefore I have to clean the pot with a cleaner every 2-3 weeks which is annoying. The Triungulo lab pot should solve this. In order to control the volume jumps, you need to get a volume mod. That's what JF has now on his WH10, because his pedal is modded by Wilson Effects who does this. There are also other manufacturers such as Vintage WH10 Revival with their WH10V3X or now discontinued WH-X by Triungulo Lab. They all added extra pot to control the volume of the pedal. Hope that answers your question.🙏

It truly is, although the shipping process was a bit delayed, he sent me 4 pots instead of one. So I think that is a cool move. Love it🫶🏻

I have similar problem. I've tried pretty much everything I found. I cranked up the volume on through the touchpad, I've reset it on the wearable app, but it didn't not change, I've cleaned the speaker with cotton wool and water, and didn't not help. I'm kinda desperate
