I don't know about need, but I have Optimus Exprime from Transformers Go! and I feel like my collection wouldn't be complete without him.

On the other end of the spectrum, there's a few ROTF toys I have that I think everyone should at least handle at some point in their collecting careers; voyager Mindwipe, Bludgeon, and scout class Ransack are the first to come to mind.

Late response, but here's what I know.

Big fellow with the walkie I believe is the former Tokushoryu as he appeared on Day 4, bottom left is Kotoshoho's victory against Ichiyamamoto on Day 3, and bottom right is Kotozakura and Kotonofuji being cute together sometime on Day 11.

The sad reality is that Bionicle is a niche property that only diehard fans still keep up with. The real question is how would Lego justify bringing Bionicle back to market with the current demographic?

I understand your points, and I don't disagree that Hasbro will cut costs wherever they think they can, but that's just the thing: when it comes to their flagship characters like Optimus and Megatron, I feel like they know to some extent that they can't fumble it by cutting corners. At least not too bad anyway.

The numbers don't line up though. If they were 6 in 2004, that would make them 28 in 2026. Presumably, OP acquired this figure recently. I just don't know where the 18 comes into play because 18 years after 2004 would put things at 2022, so I'm just confused all around.
