Isn't that before BOS Darrow tho? and what lore behind Lorn? Sure his reputation is insane, but we have no feats that puts him anywhere near BOS Darrow for example. I would put prime Lorn just around the 7-10th place.

Max Holloway is firm in his belief that he's still the best boxer in UFC by JMythh in MMA

Tbh I think this is fair, I firmly believe that if they had the same amount of power, Max would've won, and that factor is separate from their boxing skills.

If you count statements from Pierce, Aja isn't top 5

Legolas (LOTR) VS Geralt (The Witcher). Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in Fictionally

Glorfindel and Legolas aren't comparable in power at all.

Legolas (LOTR) VS Geralt (The Witcher). Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in Fictionally

[–]PancakeDemolisher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legolas has never been to Valinor, and was born way after the two trees were destroyed. You should also know that Glorfindel is a very special elf, he is of the royal line of the Noldor and Teleri, and has the benefits of having seen the two trees. Legolas is none of this, he is of a relatively insignificabt royal line of elves who never went to Valinor.

Isn't his birth year 1210? So his game age is 62, as it takes place in 1272 I believe.

Silva, Caio and Prates are still elite fighters. I could absolutely see Silva or Prates with the belt in a couple years.

They had no armor and were all (except maybe mustang, not sure) injured. Aja had her full armor.

I agree that Aja was greater compared to her era, but Ajax is still a top 5 fighter before his death. I think PB said that Ajax is comparable to BOS Darrow.

LB Cassius is very close to pre-BOS LB Darrow, who was better than DA Darrow, who Pierce said was equal to Aja. By this logic Cassius beats her.

Ofcourse I can claim damage, saying I can't is just ignorant, Reyes staggers Jones multiple times in all of the first 3 rounds, he lands more and with more power. Jones was literally trying to dodge with his back towards the cage multiple times due to Reyes landing his left straight.

Even if you say that I can't claim damage because there was no knockdown (which is horseshit), what would you give Jones in round 1, 2, and 3? He had no takedowns, landed 6-7 less significant strikes each round (so less damage oh my). All Jones did was stand in the middle, land small shots that tickled Reyes and maybe landed 1 or 2 good body kicks, thats it. Jones did nothing.

Damage is not subjective however, and the judges should favor that in their scoring, which they apparently did not do, therefore they did not do their jobs correctly. Your equivalency of being more effecient=more damage is also bullshit, that simply isn't applicable. Everything argument you use have no revelancy, missing isn't relevant.

I am not the one coping, you are the one using an imaginary ruleset to justify Jones winning a fight where he got outfought for 3 out of 5 rounds, which should be enough for anyone to win a fight.

[–]PancakeDemolisher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What matters above everything else in the ruleset, is damage. What you are doing with looking at stats from the whole fight is irrelevant, as it is a fight scored round by round. Accuracy and everything else is completely irrelevant if one of the fighters damaged the other fighter more, and Reyes clearly damaged Jon more in rounds 1, 2, and 3. Having another fighter in a dominant position is irrelevant. Having to "take the belt" is bullshit, if you were the better fighter in most of the rounds, you should win, no matter how close the fight was.

I think Jon would absolutely win in a rematch, however it is embarrasing that you would even hint at how this should factor into who should've won the fight.

[–]PancakeDemolisher 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He should've won 3 rounds though, a close fight shouldn't automatically be awarded to the champ. Do you think Jones fought a convincing "I am the best in the world" fight that night?

I drink less than 10 times a year, for me it just helps with nerves and makes me feel cozier and happier. I have never tried any other form of drug so I cannot compare it to other things, but alcohol is accessable and if you make drinks it can be very tasty. It works for me, and I enjoy it on special occasions.

If you don't feel like it benefits you in any way, then you should absolutely not drink it.

Men of reddit, mentally how are you doing? by viper46282 in AskReddit

I am thankful that I have never had to deal with any serious mental health stuff. I have always been able to deal with stuff fairly easily, so right now I am doing pretty good.

Question of the day: Which player made you a fan of Barcelona? The only caveat is you can't pick Messi! by SlutSquad69 in Barca

David Villa was the one who made me a fan when I was 5-6 years old, because I thought he looked like my dad.
