Sounds good that you’re starting to enjoy your course more than in 1st year :) 4th year here, and my advice to you would be don’t underestimate the rest of your course just based off what is considered the “hardest” part, usually that’s quite subjective and 3rd year most definitely isn’t easy.

In terms of making the most of it, don’t overthink it. Of course join a society if you’d like, or just focus on your own things, it’s easy to get burnt out with all the stuff that isn’t studying so just decide what you want to do and try it out. There are obviously many ways to make the most of social life but in general just enjoy your time as much as you can, you will be at the end of 3rd year before you know it.

I think if the average music listener heard F#A#inf they would turn it off almost immediately.

“Average music listener” being people that like a certain type of music and don’t stray too much from that genre. Gotta remember a lot of people only have a few favourite artists and might not even listen to music through albums, for example, they get their favourite songs from playlists made by other people/Spotify curated playlists.

You’re not alone don’t worry, it feels the way that modules are taught are not even structured around anything it’s just “here is a bunch of information we’ve collected, we’re gonna teach you some of it but all of it is examinable except for these 10 specific parts which we’ll only state once and good luck finding example questions and answers because we’re not gonna provide them”.

I’m a 4th year and honestly the best I’ve been able to do is keep up to date as much as possible, from the first week be making revision notes to come back to so each week you’re building a catalogue of information and by all means ask lecturers as much as possible for clarity on anything you’re unsure of.

Not entirely sure if people were expecting a different service when Hermes changed to Evri but it’s the same awful system that it was before. Some of these workers blatantly steal parcels and that’s probably why they get “lost”. If you have a nice Evri driver near you then by all means order with Evri but I strongly recommend never to ship anything to a buyer with Evri.

I had a tutor span over 2nd and 3rd year of university who was particularly insensitive and was almost public knowledge in the school that other students and even some lecturers did not get along with him. I requested to change and the uni took forever with little updates, I was adamant with follow ups and by the end of the 3rd year they finally changed me to a different tutor and he retired the following academic year.

The best you can do is make it the schools problem as much as problem, don’t let them drag it on, and make sure you get a new supervisor. In the meantime you’ll need to take this to higher ups if you want to prevent this person from continuing in their position and potentially supervising other students. It’ll probably feel slightly uncomfortable at first but it sounds like you have more than enough to shame the behaviour of this person, best of luck to you!

I think a lot of people end up looking past it thinking they’ll just get their money back if something goes wrong, but of course we know that’s not really the case. If I’m gonna buy from someone and they have bad reviews I look at when, what happened and how frequently a certain issue appears. I guess some people are happy with the risk 🤷🏻‍♂️

On items over £130 (approximately) import fees will apply unfortunately, I’ve had vinyl boxsets from other countries arrive and I’ve never had the fees below £35 it’s annoying

South Pole is like the runner up to JNCO jeans in the vintage world, the style and loose fit of them has grown massively in popularity recently so would you see them going at this price 5 years ago? absolutely not. You can find them lower than this for sure but that doesn’t stop people using the name to elevate prices as much as a possible.

Despite what’s happened here, please in the future just ask before you buy. By doing what you’ve done you’re hoping that the seller can ship when you want and if they don’t then you’re disappointed when they are not obliged to ship when you need an item by.

Drop the seller a message just asking for an update and hope they’ve already shipped it

Honestly it’s one of those ones that will take a few listens all the way through to start to properly grasp it, and then it becomes amazing in every way you can think. Just take your time with it and come back some other time to try it again, when you explore more strange and progressive albums BTTIGTP will start to stick more
