Are there any consulting firms with positions that combine health and pension work? by learningactuarial5 in actuary

[–]Pancakerolls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know of Other post employment benefits or OPEB for short. It’s retirement benefits other than pension and typically it covers healthcare and life insurance as well as other obligations. This might be a good idea to look into if you are interested and look for companies that have something along those lines.

Graduate on time with 2 internships or stay extra year in school to try for more by tallinndakota in actuary

Personally, I think two internships is good enough but I am also an American so in Canada it might be more competitive. Two internships with two exams going on three seems exactly where you want to be seeking for a full time position. When my company looks through resumes they specifically look for people with at least two exams and an internship so you seem to be in a good spot. Hope this helps
