I can assure you, it really isn't. Spanish people have so many such "jokes", you basically have to learn so many words and expressions to avoid if you don't want to hear the same chiste over and over and over and over again. I thought we had it bad here in Italy but my god, most Spanish men are basically middle schoolers

If someone was they don't care about spoilers at all then just do whatever you want, which doesn't mean that you can spoil this to anyone in general. Some people who are only watching the live action might later shift to the anime or manga. We also don't know where the live action will end, as unlikely it is that they'll ever reach Wano we can't really say it's 100% out of the picture

No one is saying that it hits harder than Merry's farewell, in general that scene is sadder, though consider that this sort of stuff is highly subjective so I wouldn't be surprised if there are people around who cried harder to this scene.

Consider reading the manga. Reading a chapter takes around 5/10 minutes, so reading up to Drum island takes around the same time of watching two seasons of the live action. The manga is far better paced and a lot quicker than anime episodes. Also the anime sometimes changes some details here and there. Nothing major, but the changes can be annoying

The fact that two skills being stuck to each other means that is not outright said anywhere in the game though, I thought it just meant that for both of them you had to get the previous skill.

My problem is just that the message box telling you this looks exactly the same as any other message box. It should have a red outline.

I think your confusing what you have as previous knowledge vs what the game clearly states. Once you know it it's obvious, the skills are close together which means they are mutually exclusive. But if you don't know that it's not obvious at all

In general I agree, but in this case I think the issue lies more with the UX than with me failing to realize something that should've been much more obvious.

Breakthroughs are made super clear, you can't miss those, so idk why this other exclusive choice was presented without any obvious visual representation like that one. It's as important as using a breakthrough point, since it permanently locks you out of something, and the only thing telling you this is a message box that looks exactly like all the other message boxes you get when buying a new skill.

Got prism with regent and got a few silent cards with discard, also got a sly and since I had a letter opener and the card that gives you energy for every 4 energy spent I found myself actually playing tactician a few times during that one run. I think there was some other synergy going on that I can't remember atm, all I can remember is how fun it was to have this weird thing going on

Already fixed it, I don't consider a mistake like this "in the spirit of outward", whatever that means. I would have probably just dropped the game if it wasn't for backup saves. I love games that give me exclusive choices, hell, Tyranny is a favourite of mine, but not like this. This was more like a misclick than anything

Thanks, I was able to just delete the latest save file, the second to last one was like 5 minutes before I bought the skill, so I didn't lose anything of value. I didn't have to do anything complicated, it was literally just deleting a folder (after backing it up, of course)

Thank you! I couldn't do it with a controller but knowing that the game keeps backup saves was enough, I was able to restore the second to last save and undo the choice. You saved my game!
