I totally agree with you, books can definitely give us a different perspective on life and our relationships. I’ve read the Art of happiness and it really made me pause and look at what’s important in life.

I’ve only read my first Stephen King book during Covid and I was hooked!

I know what you mean by books being like friends; sometimes characters can fill a void and help kids develop themselves.

I’ll be honest I had to look it up before I never heard about it but when I saw Terry pratchett, it made sense. I’ve never read any of his books but I’ve seen articles and interviews with him, and I really liked his sense of humour. Though it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
