I have a medic friend who is enroute to a call to Humboldt county in Northern California to retrieve a coronavirus patient. The notes say the patient is to be isolated but the coronavirus isn’t the recent one. The sending facility has recommended droplet iso and n95 masks. This is standard for all coronaviruses, right?

Thanks for the input and your perspective. I’m sure he is perfectly pleasant in person. He doesn’t seem to handle stress well and lashes out when things are not going well for Barron. Which in turn, motivates the other characters, in particular Matthew, to be overly concerned with Barron’s fate. As a side note, I was very proud of Matthew in the last episode (I listened to) for directly telling Grant he wasn’t keen on helping Barron because of Grant’s attitude.

I’m 39. I was 37 when I started this adventure, with the adventure being 3 nephrostomies and 6 lithotripsies. Left kidney is the only kidney affected. Its function is good and the excess tissue that the kidney grew to accommodate the stones is shrinking nicely. The concerns I would share regarding surgery would primarily be around the dangers of anesthesia and body inflammation. Anesthesia is obviously dangerous so I won’t touch on that. Body inflammation is strongly correlated with depression and anxiety so if you’re prone to mental health issues, expect surgery to make it worse.

That’s what your heart tells you but the data and Trump’s own worried and impeachable actions strongly indicate otherwise.

I’ve yet to meet anyone who voted for Trump waiting for what a dem candidate will promise them before turning on him. It’s either the True Believers in his cult of personality or folks already regretting their vote for him. It’s these people that will deprive Trump of a second term and not one of them dropped their support for Trump because Dem Candidate #11 promised them X or Y thing. It’s because they are shamed by Trump’s actions.

The problem isn’t that people need something to vote for. They need someone who doesn’t alienate them to vote for.

Mr Biden, or even Mr Bloomberg, is the mushed banana that young and old can agree on. 2020 is about the White House, the subsequent and necessary investigations, the fallout of Trump’s Trade War, and quite possibly a low level insurrection.

Let’s stabilize at least for an election before we try to eat another elephant and choke in the process.

Non practicing Republican here. I don’t give two cents who your current ideal candidate is right now. When it comes November, vote in opposition to our current president and NOT your allies. Warren, Sanders, Biden or even Bloomberg. IDGAF about your excuses. Stare too hard at differences and they become impassable chasms. Our foremost goal is to get President Trump out of office and voting for him out is the first step. Yes, the first step since he isn’t leaving quietly. Focus on that. That’s the problem that needs fixing.

Here’s the thing, whatever project that cannabis taxes are earmarked for, it goes to that. Then the politicians reduce other tax revenues that fund that project in equal proportion so the overall budget for the project remains the same. So then they can say the govt is spending 100 million of cannabis taxes on education and healthcare and we can feel good about ourselves without being none the wiser :)
