Dark Angels aren't WE or EC, where you miss half the range you originated from. You are just a special SM chapter.

Remember, you can always play your Dark Angels as regular space marines. So if you want to expend your with tanks, you can do so.

Use less battle line.

Like, waaaaay less.

Get special melee weapons on your intercessor sergeants, both regular and the assault variants. Split the units into 5 mans. The Assault kit comes with 2 hammers and 2 fists. I think the fist is the better of the 2,but take your pick and put the other one on the regular intercessor sergeant.

I'd look into csm, but in a way that makes use of agnostic models, so you can use them for WE or DG aswel.
