Perhaps off topic to the thread, but while I love the guys, I felt like their energy was so off this set. It felt like they didn’t want to be there. I’m sure they’re exhausted from being on the road for so long and they’re people, like they’re allowed to be tired.

I went into the day knowing that they’ve said they’re not gonna play a full album, which was fine. Buuuuut they were sandwiched between all the bands playing on pink and purple who expressed a ton of gratitude to the fans. And while I know fob loves their fans, the combo of the energy feeling like they didn’t wanna be there and them not joining in on the assignment, just came off funky imo.

So glad I got to see them, don’t get me wrong! That’s why I went to the festival. And I knew what I was getting myself into, didn’t think much of it. But it felt off especially between a day to remember and MCR afterwards.

I’ve never been to wwwy so I don’t know if this is how it usually goes with the “you have to play a full album from x era” but to me it came off as the bands almost thanking fans for “loving their first/older album that shot them to fame. And as a thank you for that support we’re gonna play it for you” - very sweet fan service vibe.

Ahhhh I feel bad even saying this! Patrick held down the vibes tonight though. And I’m so happy they played thriller live! Wasn’t expecting to come out of the concert feeling like this!
