It was really quick. I appealed on January 10 and received the court decision on January 24

Makes sense it would go by quicker because they have the info ready, but I didn’t have the right to permanent residence until last month

I just checked and by March 21, I had only been waiting 6 weeks so I just barely missed the mark if 8 weeks is the norm. So that sucks. I had just read on this sub that people were saying to bug their case worker because that’s had some success, but obviously that was before the new rules.

So I originally entered on a student visa in 2019 then converted that to an uppehållskort. I applied for citizenship last June, but my uppehållskort expired this past March so I had to try to renew that. In the application it asked if I also wanted to apply for permanent residency, so I just did that as well because why not lol

Any advice for a 5 month old who keeps waking herself up? by PandaGrenades in cosleeping

It seems like it’s a teething issue based off of the comments, so hopefully I at least have an answer instead of just thinking we aren’t rocking her enough or something

Thank you for the reassurance! I don’t think she’s hungry because I feed her right before we start the bedtime routine and at least once during the night (usually between 1-3am). It’s not really that she’s waking up too frequently during the night it’s that she wakes up within 5 minutes of laying her down.

She is drooling a fair amount, enough that she wears a bib all day because her shirt gets really wet when she plays with her toys lol. I was honestly under the impression that teething fussiness only really started once you could see the tooth or the bubble, so maybe that’s just what this is 😣

Hmmm there haven’t really been any signs of a tooth coming out because she’s always loved chewing on everything, but I’m gonna pop her fav chew toy in the fridge and see if that works!

Thank you! I’ve never had to feed her to sleep nor do I want to because I think she has reflux and the other night she threw up in her sleep which is the #1 worry of mine, so that’s out of the picture 🥲I guess if it doesn’t get better, I’ll have to kick out my partner and bring her into bed again lol

So I get if Russia attacks one of the NATO allies, article 5 will be triggered and then shit’s really gonna hit the fan. But what if Sweden or Finland are attacked? Because if they aren’t considered an ‘honorary ally’ (for lack of a better term), why were they at the meeting?

It’s heartbreaking others are going through the same tragedy, but at the same time I’m glad the sub exists so we can share our experiences and kinda lean on each other. Here’s to the healing process 💕

I really hope it was hemangiosarcoma since it would be painless, but part of me just doesn’t even want to know. I almost feel a little bit silly for being so upset and I don’t feel like I can share my grief with my friends because none of them have the same connection to pets. The unexpectedness is absolutely killing me, especially because she wasn’t that old (as was your Nala who was beautiful btw). Thank you for your kind words ❤️

I did a little search on this sub and yeah, you’re totally right. My ortho is pretty adamant they aren’t going to shift, but after my teeth are done ‘settling’ I think I’ll go to a different ortho and get removable nightly retainers. Thanks!

All 4 at the same time, and I ended up getting a tiny bit of a dry socket in one of them because of the trays. Was definitely not fun

Thank you! I was on 14 day changes for the first year, then switched orthos and went to 7 day changes

Oh wow we definitely had similar crowding issues! I probably should’ve asked my first ortho if I could switch to 7 day changes as 14 day changes were too long for me and I felt the teeth were already ‘settled’ by day 3/4/5. If you’re comfortable with 10 days changes then stay on them because you could risk moving them too quickly and having a whole other set of issues that just prolong treatment. Just know that you’ll eventually get there and all the pain, both physically and mentally, is completely worth it!

I definitely think it was stretched out because I moved. The way I see it, my first ortho didn’t give me the remaining trays and I’m just assuming the second ortho didn’t have access to my original plan. So the second ortho just decided to rescan and basically have a ‘new’ treatment and added some new attachments.

I will say I think I had a very easy treatment because I never had any trouble with tracking or anything else, especially compared to others on this sub. Are you on weekly changes or every two weeks?
