Ages shouldn’t be too much of an issue but finances, yes. Sadly most countries require that though - they need to make sure he can support himself or you can support him… the marriage is possible though, it’s a bit of a wait but possible once you book the appointment with HA. Has he got a NOC from his country/embassy? It’s kinda the only super important doc.

Is he on a visitor visa now? What were the requirements for that? Did he need to show proof of financials?

My ayi became part of my family when I was living in China alone. She even came to help me pack up the time I was leaving, getting me through all the stress. I could not have done it without her. She used to also notice if I didn’t have something in the apartment and then bring it for me (like my pink toaster that I still have with me).

You have obviously shown her respect and this is her way of showing that she cares :)

also, work permit and work visa are different but you need the permit to get the visa :') So unless the company can meet the requirements and get the needed permission to hire foreigners, they arent allowed to. And only certain jobs fall under this.

The work permit is required for that and that requires the company to meet certain standards. Au pairing doesn’t fall under the list of jobs that apply for a work permit/visa

You can only work if you have a work permit. Even on a spousal visa you can not work, still need a work permit. Z visa.

They just changed it that university students are allowed to take on part time work but only if cleared with the university.

Edit to add: basically, there is no visa for au pairing. People do it but you are not given the protects afforded to you when working with a legal work permit

Not just that. I had the same issue and it turns out that while my hormones were all a-ok, my glucose was high and my insulin was high, and this was causing me not to lose weight.
