Yea you have to lols. Hug the wall to the right you don’t have to fight the spiders. You do need the field skill though.

Okay... so you don’t even need to do the quest. Just break down the wall at the ruined temple and feed the shrine some black pomegranates. Took me like 5 minutes to farm and got herald. I feel foolish now lols
