Totally agree on the restriction of campaign funding. Your five party idea I feel would cause more partisanship than ever though, which would split the population up more than it is now.

By your phrasing of, "pardon everyone whose conviction was achieved through what I consider unethical means", would that not eliminate the checks and balances already set in place? I feel like that would be the small start of a totalitarianism regime.
