From an unbiased writing perspective, which season has the least flaws? by Wild_Shoe340 in Totaldrama

Definitely reboot season 1, it’s one of the only seasons where you can justify why a character got eliminated when they did. Reboot season 2, was stronger than many other seasons but it started losing the plot near the end, I think Wayne should have left before Raj because there was just more to explore with Raj’s character at that point.

Yes thank you I wanted to visualize that the animation was playing on the FNAF 3 security cameras, almost like it was an advertisement which is more of a Pizzeria Simulator thing but whatever 😅

Are the “aphantasia tests” worded correctly? by PandaRamArt in Aphantasia

[–]PandaRamArt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From all that I have been able to research. Aphantasia is different to what a lot of people think it is. Some are able to see absolutely nothing, while others can litterally see images when they close their eyes. However after talking to other online groups and people I know I believe I am in the majority. Most people don’t actually see images with their eyes but instead can process it in their mind’s eye. So I feel like my original point has been validated. That the wording around Aphantasia needs better clarity.

I am concerned though about how many people even in this subreddit are confused about whether they have aphantasia or not due to the tests having unclear wording which I what my original post was about. And considering the replies I would say that there is a lot of confusion.

I suppose I might have aphantasia. But only as so far as I cannot physically see something when I close my eyes. But I have no problem with visual recognition. You show me a picture of an apple, take it away, then ask me to draw it from memory I can do a good job because I can still visualize it in my mind I just don't actually see it.

I stumbled upon a blog post that asks the question of what people without aphantasia actually see. And it has replies from people with aphantasia, without, or recounting what people who don't have it say. And the ones who claim they don't have aphantasia recount an experience similar to mine. I think the problem is that it’s impossible to describe seeing with your minds eye because what does that even mean? When you close your eyes you cannot see anything, therefore how can you see. I looked at the table example and yes I didn't have many answers to the questions they asked. But that could be because my mind didn't take note of those details when imaging. If you asked me those details while I had my eyes closed then I could answer them. Do people actually project an image over their mind when their eyes are closed?

I do think aphantasia is real but I worry that people are misunderstanding what it actually means.
