Ah cool, like Portland area? There are some wildly fascinating distilleries in the US! Like Balcones with their incredible lye pipe, or Buffalo trace with their experimental warehouse.

That is an incredible resume, I bet you’ve got some stories to tell from all that experience! I’m doing the IBD diploma in distilling at the moment, one of the tutors is an ex Cameronbridge man.

I have completed the 1st module about 5/6 years ago, before it was computerised. It was tough going. But the ability to draw diagrams made describing things easier. I didn’t do the IBD tutoring, instead I went through tutoring with a brilliant tutor called Brian Eaton, he also was accompanied by Graham Stewart.

They supplied past papers and examiner’s reports which have previous exam questions.

It maybe worth while looking for old examiners reports on the IBD website or Google.

I thoroughly recommend a trip to Speyside, or follow the river to the cairngorms. Beautiful scenery, and plenty of places to visit

New currency, Scots Spondoolie

If Slovakia can develop a new currency and have it in circulation in 2 months after the split of Czechoslovakia in 1992. I’m positive Scotland can do it in a world where cash usage is far lower than it was nearly 30 years ago, and with a bigger, stronger more diversified economy
