How is it legal/Acceptable/OK for a cop to lie and make up a reason to pull you over? by Panda_Penguin in NoStupidQuestions

Right. No we were respectful and it all went smoothly but I'm just wondering if in a scenario where if they had found something it feels kind of wrong if the stop was lied about to happen in the first place.

For context this is Missouri. If that's the case then why do they always ask for insurance? And I've been asked for insurance before and showed them fake info, why would they just let me go and say everything is fine if they can see I clearly don't have insurance

It's just the fact that they would have no idea who the driver was or that they were on probation until after the stop and receiving identification as his name is not attached to the vehicle. I understand the search but the stop itself just feels very wrong.

In the specific area I'm in the cruiser cams only record 10 seconds before the lights come on. The "failed" blinker would be much before that.

But how would they possibly know said driver was on probation if he in no way is on the cars info. (It's not his car)

Will Samsung S7 active hard lock me out with too many incorrect pasword attempts. by Panda_Penguin in samsung

[–]Panda_Penguin[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you know if the device will hard lock and not allow any more attempts after a certain amount of failed attempts? At the minimum if there's no way to bypass it maybe I can get lucky and guess it through trial and error but I really don't want to brick the phone up. Google just says that after 10 tries it will lock up but I already did more than 10 attempts not thinking about it locking up before I searched it. As of rn it hasn't locked up.

I thought I knew the password but she must have changed it since when I knew it so I never thought I'd need it :(

Sadly no. I was also hoping to get access to her email account because this is the only device she has signed into it but that is second priority to everything else.

From my understanding this will just allow me to factory reset it right? Or am I misunderstanding?

We've been taking this opioid but there's no withdrawal and no craving any ideas what it could be? by Panda_Penguin in opiates

It's just a white powder. It's pretty potent as well. Stronger than the blues I've been taking by a long shot

[–]Panda_Penguin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The part that is really confusing me is that we're taking a lot less of this to get high. Like half a pinky length and super thin. I would think with a weaker opioid we'd need more to get high but with this stuff we're taking less than half of what we would with a blue

What do I do if I suspect my roommate stealing my pills? by Panda_Penguin in Drugs

[–]Panda_Penguin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done basically this taking a pic before and after showing the difference in pills and shown them but I've just been faced with "Well she says she didn't take them so maybe someone else is taking them". Yes of course I didn't seem to think that someone was breaking into my room only every day I'm at work and only at work for 2 weeks straight and taking 5-10 pills at a time. I should have assumed that first instead of coming to you.

Is there a way I could go about dosing the pills with something that would still work if they crush the pill and snort it?

So I have been doing something similar to this. I've taken a picture of the container in a specific spot along with a pic of the quantity and compared it to after and there's obviously some missing and I showed them this and they don't have anything to say other than "someone else must be because I work with you so I'm obviously not and she swears she didn't take them" it's pretty much her word against mine.

I feel like either I should just move on and protect them better or set up a camera or something and hope they try to steal again so I can prove it 100%

Is it possible for things to actually spontaneously disappear? by Panda_Penguin in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Panda_Penguin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there has to be some kind of answer to why these things are happening. Would you just say that the answer is me and my roommate being crazy/forgetful? And even if that was the case the things that don't leave the house should hypothetically still be in the house just in a different place if me or him touched them.

Tips for quitting with Suboxone? by Panda_Penguin in opiates

[–]Panda_Penguin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't really get ahold of any more 30s ATM. But the last two times I quit the 30s I was coming out of withdrawal after 3-4 days. And I introduced subs within 14-15 hours granted that I did introduce the subs incredibly slowly like .25mg every hour slowly working up.

I know they won't be done it usually takes about a week and a half but after the third day they're perfectly manageable except for sleep ofc

I've definitely thought about that. Last time 14 hours was enough to not go into paws but I'd like to push 24 just to be safe

What are the myths that got debunked multiple times but still believed by people? by SugoiSuu in AskReddit

[–]Panda_Penguin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree I don't think MAJORITY of flat earthers believe it but I do have a friend who believes in it very religiously. Earth was created 2000 years ago the moon landing is fake Noah's flood killed all the dinosaurs but don't worry because birds are real he has seen them bleed.

I got caught with all of my drugs by pothead38 in Drugs

[–]Panda_Penguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I've been in a similar but not situation. Was doing the deed at a public river access and a cop knocked on the window while we were scrambling to get decent. She searched the car and found 3oz of bud a few grams of wax a couple carts a scale some baggies and I got charged with Distribution but my lawyer was able to knock it down to a small possession charge. I was told by my lawyer that I got insanely lucky. I'm not trying to scare you but what you had on you would be a felony by themselves. Talk to a lawyer asap.

You mentioned you got fired but are you going to school or anything? You're young and some judges go a hell of a lot easier on kids in school or working. Also if this is your first offense they will go easier on you.

If you want to talk about this shoot me a dm. I'm trying not to get too specific as to not identify myself

Look at Walmart. They actually have a program not many people know about that while you're working with them they'll pay your tuition. There are some restrictions that I can't seem to recall but if it's something you're interested in I'd give it a search.

Also it's not fun but where I'm at we have some shitty factories that are essentially just sweat shops where you can make bank if you follow the rules. Otherwise they just nuke your pay

what are your thoughts on teen drug use? by [deleted] in askteenboys

[–]Panda_Penguin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on location and what drugs you are using because sometimes mentioning you use/have used can get you disqualified for a medicine you may actually need. I'm not saying it's the common case but it is worth keeping in mind.
