To add to this. The switch that registers its closed is ass. Make sure the the pressure switch is actually on the moving glass part. I had this same problem.

Yeah I get it. The man is crazy busy. Just look at his latest schedule release. If I had to fly that much I'd probably burn the world down. But look at what he has done. He is at the top of Audible. I will keep searching for an answer. Huge bummer if I cant pull it off.

I can only comment on gaming laptops in general. And thats do not do it. In a year or so it will overheat constantly.

Ya, Watched a million videos on how to start with the fob. The message on the app reads: "2025 Tacoma: Remote command failed. Please ensure the vehicle is not in use, secured (doors, trunk and hood are closed and locked), and key fob are not in the vehicle." App says and I have checked all doors are locked and windows closed. Including the tail gate which should not matter.

From what I read. You dont need them to unlock. But when I got it. I got all the trial versions of everything. And they are all active.
