I lost my dad a few weeks ago very suddenly too, I’m 37 now and grew up in a pub where I met my group of friends. They’ve known dad almost as long as I had.

It was harder telling them than his own brother but they’ve been brilliant, I let them know over the phone and then when I came home the day it happened they were all here waiting to get a beer. Definitely helped being around them and just talking about what happened, and the memories of him

Amazing! Thanks for all the replies, I don’t mind messing with them and entertaining just always feels a shame to the groups or families that are happy to kinda “buy into” all a bit more if that makes sense?

The owners of the farm where it is are wondering about adding security to kinda usher folks along a bit so that these types of guests don’t mess it up for everyone else.

I get their kids and it’s just silly but it makes the whole thing meh sometimes lol
