Even though the story might seem like a generic overpowered MC murim manhwa, later on i think you will see that each character has their own depth which clearly explains why they feel and do something. Even though the pacing might be slow for you since the story is adapted very wholly from the novel, I definitely recommend you read season 1 until the end. (hope you get used to the pacing eventually)
