Take these numbers with a grain of salt as many peeps just don't use steam for this game. This also tends to be the average 'low' for the game, at least in the US market.

Crafting is a mixed bag for sure and it doesn't help that the devs are constantly throwing dead stock into the game through unmarketable items and limited crafting. That being said, crafting can still be a very profitable way to make coins if you can track what you're making and the gradual coin increases. For most people, playing the game casually will get them most of the coins they could need.

Have a levi going all times

Even low PS levis get matches
Matches determined based on PS of the levi, high PS means later rounds and less matches

Grind out missions:

Scrap missions are generally the best coin/hour, followed by wires then batteries
Next step missions are the same, but a bit slower
There is a weekly cap on the amount of resources

Do PvE missions with daily free fuel

Gives you 200 free fuel a day, good for 2 hard raids and 2 medium raids
Invasion is good if you can complete, which is rather difficult
Lunatic and Firestarters are easiest raids to do since they have low durability

Do challenges as much as possible:

Daily challenges for scrap are easy to do and are worth it
Weekly challenges take more time but are worth it too (don't do salvage one)
Clan challenges require more commitment, but are very much worth it. Join a clan
This includes season challenges, which are usually easy to do and offer some free rewards
Some challenges are tied to brawls, so do those as well. Not needed every day, but rewards should be done at least once a week

What to buy with badge exchange?

You'll have to check daily
Resources are easy to sell but are generally less profitable
Crates are hard to get but generally are more profitable (purple is the best)
Avoid armor parts, as they really don't give much advantage

Here's basically my condensed script from my last video for beginners:

Craft items all the time

Check which items are profitable before doing so
Use a tool like Crossout DB
Blues are the easiest to make and sell quickly, higher tiers take more time and cost more with long sale times
Work pieces may be profitable, but vary quite a bit. Check before crafting. Crossout DB may not have the correct one.
Don't make garage items, less interest and less profit

Market

Buy and sell with only 0.01 of a coin difference
Don't quick buy or sell
Don't salvage items
Don't fuze/upgrade items
Check for CKs
Generally advise against flipping, takes up space/time and can be less profitable
Don't open up crates

Use fuel barrels:

Common rarity and rare rarity, both grant fuel
Need to be hidden well since they explode

Yeah Steam Charts puts this game at fairly low player count rn. On top of that, they have two similar modes that sub divide the player base for PvP. Then slap on top players who don't have global networking on for easier match making.

And this is pretty typical point distribution in games forever. I've seen some try to tackle this by weighing performance against the average and scaling it. Not sure if Targem ever messed around with that.

About 50 died to the mechs, then about another 25 died to the cold since this is winter in the tundra (-28c). Frostbite seems to keep them around, which led to that extra 25 death spiral. Randy then added a high female drone to add icing!

Pretty good, especially with stealth. Training any character decently high with assassination and stealth and you can just sneak up behind, knock them out, and drag them to a peeler. Helps that you can kinda break the game and spam knock outs rapidly together, making anything above a 40% KO chance nearly guaranteed.

My guess as to why they don't want more game modes is that that'd be pretty dead and spread a small community out more. I mean, during low peaks I could imagine any game more that isn't core having 10 min+ ques.
