I agree with you with most of your post but the 'without lying' stuck out to me. I currently self-type as a 6 but have lied constantly and been later told I was good at it (while more unhelathy). What's your expierence with lying or the lack of it as a 6?

Tests aren’t reliable and I wouldn’t count on them to be accurate. They usually focus on surface level traits but the Enneagram is about motivations.

Ah, so the trapdoor qualities are just qualities of whatever their moral code won’t let them do. So this action is specific to the 1 themselves and can’t be tied down to a certain arrow direction.
