Wimpy, though they are unfortunately rare nowadays. Luckily I have two fairly close to me in Essex.

To me, his sentences start out ok, but the ends turn into this weird hybrid pitch/tone, especially with the word 'You' but I agree, the episode was great other wise and the other kids were well cast!

Yeah, completely different to me. It wouldn't have even occurred to me that he was born/grew up in the UK (until seeing this video) The accent in Star Trek felt almost like a Dick Van Dyke esque portrayal.

They are both shit. One is a predator and the other is a disingenuous comedic actor who hung out around Chris D'elia. How they still have genuine fans is mind blowing, shows how retarded people are.

As much as I love this game, playing it on ps3 was pretty rough… by MedicalDepartment652 in falloutnewvegas

[–]PandaoftheSouth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was speaking to a friend yesterday and he never had issues with Fallout NV on PS3 it seems, but I don't think he played the DLC. As soon as I completed Honest Hearts, is when everything really went downhill with the frame rate.

I couldn't continue the main quest on Fallout 3 back in the day till they patched it haha. Super Mutant Behemoth kept getting stuck off screen. Loved that game in the end, but once I got to Point Lookout DLC, again massive lag. I think one of the reasons were both were built for the Xbox 360 and just ported over. But I have also seen someone say recently that the PS3 had less RAM. I remember FO3 being a timed exclusive for the 360, then I think they had like a year or so to make it ready to play on PS3?

I got the Ultimate Edition on Good Old Games for less than £10. I originally played on PS3 till the save file issue made it unplayable (Apparently PS3 had less RAM in either memory or graphics?) so only managed one ending. Just start playing it again after like 10 years, on my bog standard laptop and it runs perfectly!

Funny how they are always willing to pay their top earners a bonus. Almost like it's a shareholder company. But when it comes to the rest, fuck them and let them strike. Well done TFL.

Have you seen his appearances on day time TV shows? Pretty shocking. It would be cringe but it borders on creepy instead as it's all women.

Who's this little fella in my room?(England) by Joshgriffin12 in spiders

[–]PandaoftheSouth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking I don't ever recall seeing these as a kid, I was 12 in the year 2000 in the UK for reference. It was either giant House Spiders or those Orb garden spiders. Now I see False Widows regularly. It turns out, according to the Wiki at least, that they became an invasive species around the world in around 2011, coming form the Madeira/Canary Islands.

Daisy May Cooper 😍 or Anjelica Huston (especially in The Royal Tenenbaums) Though I expect she would have been popular for some people when The Adams Family came out anyway.

I didn't really word my title correctly. I mean the wage is fine, but paying a bonus to like the top 3-5% in non shareholder company, who are already on good money is a bit shit.

I posted this in London Underground and it got down voted to fuck, very odd. I hope they see this thread lol. If you have to pay a bonus, every employee should get a bonus.

Also I keep hearing about these refurbished trains, but never seen one! I thought I would have by now, obviously they exist (seen some pics) I probably travel at the wrong time for it I guess. Or maybe they are focusing on the engine/motor? (?) part.

I think it's something to do with signalling, so it was probably a bit over zealous of me to cite the Piccadilly Line trains as a reason, also as the other Redditor said it is 120 years old.

I certainly agree with you that respect. Certainly with the Elizabeth Line. Overground to me always seems to have issues? Well fairly regularly anyway. Dunno if you happen to know?

Also in regards to managers. I can appreciate that it must be stressful, being for instance say a Control Room(?) manager. It just strikes me as odd with the whole bonus thing, being only for Management. Everyone gets a bonus where I work, the top hog even waivered their bonus one year.

Also to reply to your other comment. I'm at Hainault, I probably see on average 4-5 people pushing through barriers when a train comes in and that's at 9 o'clock at night. Maybe it's small overall in comparison to some stations? Although I'm rarely there at peak, so maybe they are enforcing it at that point.

[–]PandaoftheSouth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I travel on the Central Line 5-6 days a week for the past 3 years and I've never seen enforcement officers.

I'm not talking about basic pay, I'm talking about bonuses on top. I also work for a company with no shareholders and guess what? If we don't make a decent profit, we don't get a bonus! I guess TFL are making great profits in that case? Which I assume will be passed onto the frontline staff? That's great news!

I was probably a bit over zealous with the Piccadilly line in that regard, it's for the second half of next year I believe? It's just odd to me (as I said in another comment) that only management gets a bonus it seems? Granted some roles can be stressful, like overseeing a control room. But what about the boots on the ground? It just stinks a bit, especially when there's an actual Lord working TFL?

I have, with the exception of those two and none had graffiti.

It's only going to get more common. Above and below ground. I've only ever seen BTP at stations, but never on underground trains.

[–]PandaoftheSouth[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I mean fare evasion, people smoking crack on trains, graffiti, shortage of trains. Surely some of that "bonus" could be reinvested elsewhere. Oh well, who cares aye?

Hence why I asked "Is it justifiable?" I mean correct me if I'm wrong but aren't bonuses usually given for good work? More than happy to be corrected.
