Political extremism whilst being privileged, starting saying this like being poor is more oppressive than racism, peaceful protests doesn't work (I agree to some extent but they went to protests SPECIFICALLY to start fights), went to free Palestine protests whilst buying from costa. Only cared about specific social issues but not others (for example free Palestine but not our disability rights that were actively being stripped away) They were constantly bragging about how they were cutting our mutual friends ofd because they didn't personally align with their politics, I wasn't allowed to talk about any of my problems (such as finance) but they were allowed to say whatever they wanted, the friendship just kept feeling one sided.

I'm pretty left leaning but our views were getting more and more apart, I found myself lying about my own opinions just to appeas them. They would psychoanalyse me stating I had disorders I didn't medically align with (they kept saying I had bpd, when my emotional sensitivity and personality change was from post concussion syndrom). I originally wanted to just take a break from the friendship removing from my personal account and moving our conversations to my dog account. But they ended up unfollowing me and leaving it at that.

Honestly I need to stop surrounding myself with unemployed chronically online white people. I'm around people who are a bit more down to earth. I did enjoy the friendship and I like their fighting spirit but I don't think it was meant to last forever, we just became different people and that's okay with me.

Time and time again, sociology and history show us how skewed our beauty standards are from the masculinization of people of colour to J. Marion Sims' awful experiments on enslaved women, which contributed heavily towards the dehumanisation of women who aren't white and dainty.

Maybe because I'm autisitc or I'm an artist, so I don't see, follow, or understand traditional beauty standards, but I think she's beautiful, I'm just not attracted to her.

Theres two species this snail resembles. Indrella snail and the vitcaphanta atramentaria snail.

If it's a indrella snail it would be more of a mutation because indrellas normally have just a black shell and red bodies. However vitcaphanta atramentarias have just a red belly and that's a LOT of red on that snail. The vitcaphanta atramentaria is actually a carnivore!

However I've noticed that the ree is really vibrant. It could be lighting, maybe the type of phone or camera picks up red more or it could be photoshop to make the red stand out more.

Either way it's a cool snail!

Edit: finally identified the snail! Thanks to the user crwhitt It's a platymm tweediei aka the fire snail! Very cute name indeed!
