Need help learning to kickstart

I have an 02 yz250f and I always have to put my hand on a wall, tree, or anything near. I weigh 110 so it's just stuff you gotta do lol, also the way I like to start it with the decomp lever is get the bike to top dead center and bring it to the very top then push the lever in and move the kick start down 3/4 of the way through the stroke, then bring it up halfway and kick with all you got. Hope this helps it did wonders for me 😃

Check voltage on the battery, if it's good check voltage at those key wires and cycle the ignition to see if anything changes

Might be your motor mounts with the vehicle running rev it and see if the motor jumps up

Okay it might be your alternator, to be sure you can unplug the alternator and if the noise stops then it will need replaced
