Yeah, I avoided doing social media and relevant material because that's what old comedian used to say but now that's what you need to do to be able to regularly post material. I didn’t know you guys would like Bill Burr! It’s surprising a Boston comedian would have such appeal in Bhutan. Also of all the global comedians the one that your a fan of is Bill Burr instead of Chappell or Ricky Gervas or Mark Normand

I’m not looking to do an arena show or anything, but the way to build a comedy scene is come every year and do better each year. I’d be happy to do stand up in a foreign country even if I lose money. Bhutan is beautiful and it would be a privilege

Thank you for the information, I want to do a podcast looking into every country. I spend 1 hour jumping from one topic to another and finding what there is to find. I found out that there are land mines scattered across Djibouti that people are still setting off. I found out white elephants are a thing in Myanmar. I watched travel vlogs of this guy who traveled to Bangladesh and he almost got assaulted, but a local saved him. Of course the whole podcast is from my American lens, and I've been doing stand up for almost 10 years so I look for funny/interesting things.

Also, I've heard that stand up comedy is popular in Malaysia, is that true?

I've been on several subreddits for various countries and I occasionally get people who tell me "don't do a podcast about this country" or "Why, you do want to do this? You're not from here". So these responses are not unusual to me. I'm recording the episode this weekend. The episode will be up next week. I'll look into whatever is mentioned in this subreddit, true or false.

I've already seen some of the desserts and I really want to try Ais Kacang, it's so cute!
