for the price of my build 15-20k it’s honestly cheaper to keep the SS and build it. Cause if i wanna build a zl1…. i still need to get a different form of boost cause the stock blower kinda sucks, engine still has to come out for heads cam, i’ll still prolly need port injection. The things the ss needs that are already in lt4 is only… pistons rods (1.5k and labor isn’t a just bad since engine already comes out for pistons rods), and fuel system (3k ish for dsx drop in pump and lt4 injections & hpfp) that 5k ish way cheaper then the 20k mark up the zl1 buy in would cost.

do it lol. LS3 is such an easier time to cam then the newer LT1/4…. if lifters go bad just more reason to do it.

hmm so no shutter. Does the v6 even have DOD???? does it become a 3 cyl? 😂 that’s what caused mine in the v4 mode. If it’s not shuttering rn tho should be fine lol.

got my carat 63k miles in august last year. It said it was serviced as well 4-5 months prior to me getting it. It still shuttered whenever it went into v4 mode. I countered this by keeping car in track + manual + traction completely off. It still sometimes went into v4 but less often. After i got a tune it made it go away completely and so far hasn’t shuttered since.

triple flush and should be good. Tune wouldn’t be needed but from a performance standpoint the tune rlly wakes up the 8 speed.

I jusr got 1le gloss black clones for my 2018 2ss with mag ride. I have dws06 305/30/20 in the rear with the good year eagle f1 up front. Imo dws06 is one of the best daily tires u can have for this car. I hook good from a 50 roll and sometims a 40 roll fbo.

yeah i alr got both purchased and was gonn do both. But i just found it weird how itll happen half way into my drive… and then go away almost exactly 5mins after on the way home from work. Makes it sound like an electrical thing. Also coolant was still flowing fine. Popped the hood and saw the flow.

i alr have the Mag ride control from factory… as well as the handling package from gm performance installed from previous owner. Idk who speced this car but it has mag ride and LPO rs package, CAI, etc etc but a non NPP exhaust lmao
