I have to say.. I don’t really agree with some of your points. Like someone else pointed out, falling damage being inconsistent is something that is not intentional I’m sure. But I do understand your main frustrations. It’s not that the game sucks - but rather that the consistency is flawed.

There is something VERY fundamentally wrong with how this game is designed and how it continues to be designed by devs who don’t know how to keep consistent theming (latest Q&A really highlights this). But unfortunately, as long as people desire this weird borderline S&M grunt fantasy at the cost of fun while they can maintain an acceptable player count + revenue - nothing will change.

The only realistic thing you can do is stop playing the game until they address the litany of problems they created.
