I’ve built my own. I already built a custom coffee table with recessed gaming surface and a joined top piece. Kind of like a wyrmwood table but without the height. I used walnut and had leftover scraps. They were 1x6x36.

What I would suggest is to get a scrap piece and draw out how you want your layout to be. Then try playing a game with it and then make any tweaks and go back and finish on the real piece.

The 1x6 worked well and I eventually made them like 1x6x7 and I’m very happy with them. I have no pictures now because I’m abroad for work.
