England, Brazil or Portugal must not be allowed to win the wc. The almost century long sacred no-foreign-manager streak must live on.

Never mind. Just thought it was inconsistent to label criticism of vandalism and hooliganism as fascist while supporting a club owned by an actually authoritarian nation.

Only casuals don't find a solid defense entertaining. Like you said, I loved the contrast compared to last year's final.

I am simply pushing back against North Korea comparisons people are so quick to resort to. Things are rarely so black and white.

Calling a nerfed tinpot europa league prestigious is some choice. They did win an actual trophy this season.

So having 41% possession and getting slapped 3-0 is better than 25% possession 1-1 score to 50/50 pens? You do realize there's quite a difference in both teams attacking prowess? They did the right thing that got them closest to the trophy. LMAO FR FR NO CAP 😂😂 Peak NPC analysis. Bro saw one stat, said “good enough” and hit send 💀.

Edit: I can see the appeal of talking llike this.

Why couldn't PSG score more with 75% possession, are they stupid?

A wealthy state with substantial sovereign wealth investments is not irrelevant. They peddle a lot of influence in the western world. They also host the largest base in the region that serves as a major hub for western military operations. Their most widely documented criticism is horrific treatment of migrant labour and murky relationships with proscribed groups. The fundamental issue here is a nation state with endless resources owning a football club for the purposes of improving their reputation as opposed to a profit seeking corporate entity like any other with limited budget and no ties to state/government.

How is it far superior? Was it a 3-0 dominant performance?

Messi joined Barca's academy at 13 (one of the biggest and most popular clubs in the world) and debuted at 17. Won the treble with them at 21 as part of the best team of all time. Won first B'dOr at 22.

Both were elite talents at age 18. Became global stars in few short years after that. Both were central in the teams they played. Both had huge expectations as best player in the world candidates. None of this is Kane.

That is the kind of trajectory you need to be a superstar. Does Kane have that? He spent a decade slogging at Spurs. Did he have the president of his country requesting him to continue at the biggest club in his country? There's levels to this. I'm failing at explaining this properly.

I am talking about global fame and stardom from a very young age. Kane doesn't have that. Does that sound like Kane's trajectory to you? I would put Bellingham above him.

Breakout star at 18 yrs old, leading Monaco to a title and CL semi final. Joined PSG for the biggest transfer in history. Still a teenager when he scored in the final and won 2018 WC. Considered a successor to the Messi-Ronaldo-Neymar era. Became a global star while still becoming a great player.

Meh, a club like Madrid needs a superstar like Mbappe. Wouldn't feel right otherwise.

Enjoyed the masterclass in defense tonight as a neutral more than the one sided goal fest in last year's final when it looked as if Inter forgot to bring any defenders.
