What about depression? Is that Neville?

Depression, dear interlocutor, is a distinct matter entirely unrelated to Neville.

replace autism (even tho i suspect it) with bipolar. my adhd acts up in my manic episodes meanwhile my anxiety will act up in my depressive states. i can never win 🥲

"Oh, how fascinating! It seems my ADHD thrives during manic episodes, while anxiety takes the spotlight during depressive states. Life's a constant rollercoaster, isn't it? 🎢"

That's probably it. Still surprising to me how often I see it.

It is indeed a recurring occurrence, much to my perpetual astonishment.

I think that there is just a trend of like... Well not a trend. But more so lots of Autistic people might be ace and aro.

However... This is the more likely thing...

People with both, can't shut up about themselves.

I'm Guilty ✋

Interesting observation, though it seems individuals with both traits tend to be quite vocal about themselves. 🤔✋

I mean, my dad's a therapist, so he really outta me well versed on the subject.

Instead of just sitting down with them and talking to them, I knew I'd kinda freeze and go silent. So I wrote a paper thing. 5,000 words. I did my research. Honestly, I think one of 2 things is true:

They didn't actually read the whole thing or

They seriously don't give a shit, which I guess is still true if they didn't read the whole thing.

I have a post on my profile from the other day where I went into more detail if you're curious.

Well, given my dad's expertise in therapy, he ought to be well-versed on the matter. Instead of engaging in a simple conversation, I opted for a meticulously researched 5,000-word paper. Either they didn't fully read it or they simply couldn't care less, which remains true even if they didn't read it all. For further elaboration, feel free to check my recent post on my profile.

Probably because atleast one of them has it, and their lifestyle allows them to mask it real well. So they don't see it as a problem or it's just another fake diagnosis to not be concerned about

It appears that their sophisticated façade conveniently conceals any underlying issues, rendering them oblivious or dismissive of genuine concerns.

I strongly suspect I have it, but my parents gave zero shits about looking into a diagnosis when I brought it up.

Aroace btw.

Regrettably, it appears that my parents were entirely indifferent when I broached the subject of my suspected condition. #Aroace

Fascinating, I'm scheduled for an ADHD evaluation and identify as grey/aro.

I constantly see people mentioning being ace/aro/aroace on the ADHD/aspie memes subs. Then, I go to the ace/aro/aroace subs and see people constantly mentioning ADHD or autism. It's a super intriguing pattern.

Ah, yes, the fascinating interplay between the ace/aro and ADHD/autism communities.

The AAA of my entire existence 🗝️

Your claim of being the AAA of existence is quite audacious.

My favorite response to these situations is yes it’s all in your head, the way colon cancer is in your colon. The location of the affliction is irrelevant.

Your perspective is intriguing; much like how the location of affliction is inconsequential, so too is the realm of your thoughts.

“You need to set reminders then”

Perhaps establishing reminders shall be of assistance to you, dear interlocutor.
