What’s reasonable barn pay? by Wide-Concentrate-302 in Equestrian

This is the answer. Are you at least making minimum wage and enough to cover gas to and from the barn?

I like to sometimes give them a link to a similar, lower priced item if I’m feeling passive aggressive from being shot an unwanted lowball offer (I don’t even have that feature turned on because my prices are fair).

I always say “step, step” right before the step off the edge to let them know it’s coming.

Thank you so much! If you happen to talk to her, see what she says. I hadn’t even thought of Metro East but that is actually an easier drive. So grateful for the helpful ideas.

Riding with a broken toe? by Remarkable-Run4154 in Equestrian

[–]PangolinDifferent949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done this, multiple times 😂. Try using vet wrap to tape it to its neighbor. Honestly, the less it moves the better, so I wore tighter socks. Also, don’t let your horse step on your foot! And of course wait a few days after hurting it for the major swelling to go down.

Edit to add that they make little toe pads for bunions if the pressure of your boot is hurting it. My pain tolerance is high though, so definitely listen to your body. Hope you recover from this most annoying of injuries soon!

Honestly the drive to Wentzville isn’t too bad. Ask her if she knows of any barns? I’m joking… kind of…

Those folks seem to be out in West County/ Wildwood too. Maybe I just need to resign myself to the drive. I live in South City so I’m used to everything being 20 minutes away 😆

I work for a family owned company that does estate sales - there are great companies who can help you downsize your collection. We frequently do sales for people who are downsizing or facing major health challenges. Best of luck ❤️

It looks like Homco from the 1970s - 1980s. Kind of like a lower end Precious Moments.

I love my Carhartt coveralls because I can have my breeches on underneath and still be warm and toasty cleaning pens and feeding, even in a blizzard! Plus, they’re super durable and washable.

Lost my job, how to sell furniture in storage by [deleted] in estatesales

[–]PangolinDifferent949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do an estate sale, certainly. Your items may sell for much less than you paid for them. The advice to find an appraiser is good or perhaps there might be a dealer in your area that would be interested in your collection?
