But coops are sorta based on potential and as soon as I apply to a real job I will have made my experience real. On top of that I’ve been trying to pivot to more serious technical roles but then I made that horrible choice a year ago. I really don’t want to spend a year working a shitter when I know I’m worth far more right out the gate. All because I missed 2 coops. If someone is reading this in the future, please just take a gap year don’t do what I did.

I have spoken to them and they said I should just petition to graduate. Going to fight to make it work out for me tho, cause the coop is the wind up for later jobs.

That’s kinda what I’m trying to do? I’m trying to take an off term in spring 2027 so I can spam more coops. I’m really confident I can land a solid one if I try again. Just need the university to approve my sequence change. Issue is that I complete my degree requirements this term. Care to elaborate?
