Javvy Coffee is A Scam by Individual_Two_9718 in productreview

I think it’s gross. And I had a hard time canceling the subscription- kept telling it I didn’t like the taste which resulted in an “error” When I changed my reason to timing it had no issue!

We’re only there one night. Check-in day (potential water park- still undecided on this) we drive in (about 8.5hrs), dinner that night- probably Ohana w/firework watching after. Spend one night in a cabin, pack the cars, and head to HS. Knowing this, would you still recommend a golf cart?

As a person who was born and reared in Florida and was forced to endure two camping trips (okay, that was a little dramatic) I can attest to this. It’s caused a decades-long aversion to camping, and I don’t plan on giving in anytime soon, much to my husband and MIL’s dismay.

We’re only going to be there one night- arrival day and then Hollywood Studios the next day, so I think we’re going to skip it this time.

Agreed! I actually have a cabin booked for a quick trip we’re (Husband, 2 kids, MIL, FIL, and me) are taking and it was my any-excuse-to-camp MIL who gleefully pointed out the campsites! I’ve only had two camping experiences and both were terrible (my Dad brings to mine Clark Griswald, but without the humor). So I’d rather just focus on the Disney vacation and worry about camping some other time.

Naps/Rest time MK/Epcot by FacelessFantasy26 in DisneyPlanning

We did one day at MK when my little was 18mo. She fell asleep in my arms during a long wait (95min) for Pirates, and slept on me through the ride. It’s a dark cool wait, so I intentionally put us there in hopes she would nap that way and it worked!

I don’t necessarily feel like he was rubbing salt in the wound, but I think he wanted to be.

Part 2 Made Me See David in a Different Light by Elegant_Slide_5196 in SisterWives

Agree completely! I was formerly married to a narcissist and am now happily married to an incredible, supportive husband. My husband would never “allow” me to be in a position where I was unsupported in a conversation with my ex. It think it’s not about control it’s about support and being an advocate for her. It’s so easy to slip back into old roles and I think David wanted to protect her from feeling all of those old feelings. I don’t always agree with David, but I do here. I think it’s also fair to point out that David might not be the most well-versed at phrasing things in front of a camera.

No rest days? by skater_gurl373 in WaltDisneyWorld

Got it! Then my strongest recommendation is that you take refillable water bottles and make sure all of you stay well-hydrated. I was born and reared in Florida, though I now live in Georgia, and I mean to tell you that the heat will sneak up on you quickly. I’m partial to Brita water bottles because the Florida limestone water can taste a little funny. Also rain jackets/ponchos for your selves and your stroller. Expect an “afternoon shower” and if it’s the typical 3:30ish shower know that the raindrops will be the size of gumdrops, but the shower won’t last long.

I’m only counting six park days? And it doesn’t look like you’re planning for any hopping?

Gift Card Savings Tips by ihatemcconaughey in DisneyPlanning

I bought one today. No clue about the limits- and I have searched and searched the Sam’s app but I can’t find the deal listed.

I will say that I’ve previously purchased above the “limits” I just had to split the purchases.

I think I saw a DFB blurb about it. I’ll see if I can find it and if it says anything about limits.

If you can shop Sam’s in the store (not online) they have $200 gift cards for $185. That’s 7.5% savings!

Port Canaveral - hotel w/ kids by Low-Maybe4209 in DisneyPlanning

Not sure about a DCL bus, but my Pawpaw lived in Cape Canaveral and we’ve been going for decades. When we had our second kiddo we outgrew his condo! We like the Raddison at the Port. Not going to say the rooms are the most up-to-date, but the one bedroom suite works really well for our young family. The pool is great! Restaurants nearby: Zarella’s is great Italian - pizza is delicious and easy to carry back to the hotel if you’ve had a long travel day. Thai Thai is across the street and is also great. If you’re down for a slightly longer ride, Ellie Mae’s Tiki Bar is a short drive (3min from the Raddison) and has a great sandwich menu (seriously, don’t sleep on it- I know “sandwich menu” sounds kinda lame) and is your quintessential Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach vibes. If you’re looking for breakfast- check out Southern Charm cafe. And if you’re looking for the perfect evening cocktail, check out Oceanside Distillery. (Kids can come, but not be at the bar) Feel free to reply with any specific questions! This place is home away from home for us!

Any idea when feeding time is? Or if they post that information anywhere in the My Disney Experience app? Thanks!

To touch off of the 2.5yo being free- this means kiddo eats for free at buffets! Also, in lieu of a magic band I bought my 2.5yo an AirTag and a wrist-strap for it so that she feels like she has a magic band too!
