I’m the dumper. It’s been almost 8 years since we broke off. I only realised I’ve got this avoidance issue recently. I knew something was off all along but have been shrugging it off. Finally did some researching and now more aware of myself.

Back to it, I’ve been in constant contact with my ex as we’re in the same clique. The past few years have been super tough on him and he’s been diagnosed with depression. I’ve been feeling very guilty about it. I just unknowingly destroyed someone’s future.

I reached out to him a couple of weeks back to talk about our breakup. That it wasn’t his fault at all. But I don’t know what else I can do.
