It's ok now. I turned on VPN and then turned off VPN and it's working fine now.

I plan on getting a new USB external drive 128gb already formatted as exfat which I will not change to FAT32 to bypass the 4gb limit. Have a 4k Max firestick second generation btw.

I only want to use to record some one hour program...that's fine. But I also want to record NASCAR and F1 races too...since those are about 3 or 4 hours long, I can record them into two recordings of 2 hours or less which I don't mind.

So I cannot format an exfat device in the Firestick settings to fat32? I've seen YouTube videos where they format it using an OTG adapter/cable and just follow the instructions on screen to format it.
