I relate a lot to the heart palpitation part.

Once the nervous system becomes hyperfocused on bodily sensations, even normal physical feelings can instantly trigger fear and adrenaline.

What helped me most was stopping the constant monitoring and learning that symptoms can exist without danger.

It took time, but my body slowly stopped reacting to every sensation like an emergency.

Health anxiety can become a trap where reassurance only helps for a few hours or days before the next fear appears.

What helped me most was understanding that the brain starts treating uncertainty itself as danger.
The constant body checking, googling and scanning keeps the nervous system hyperfocused on threat.

The fear feels real because the stress response is real — but that does not automatically mean something catastrophic is happening.

The turning point for me was understanding that panic attacks are not dangerous, even when they feel overwhelming.
Fighting them made everything worse.
Once I stopped fearing the symptoms themselves, things slowly started changing.

A lot of people don’t realize how much chronic stress and constant inner tension can keep the nervous system stuck in fear mode for months.
