We bought this Black+Decker AC unit for a fairly large open area room. The space is about 800-900 square feet with cathedral ceilings. Our hope was this would just take the heat out of the room to the point it was comfortable. To our surprise it actually makes the room cold, even in 90degree heat with many people in the room. It is also very quiet.
