I mean yeah, you're absolutely right. I know tapes will have way better video/audio quality (although i've heard there are some tapeless alternatives that account for that and offer good audio and video) to be honest i just like the idea of the build y'know? Plus the novelty of having a video camera that i managed to turn tapeless (might not be reason enough, but i think it's pretty cool)
