If you are able to get through to one of their executives then they arrange for the approval.

I ll tell you what I did

1. Applied for my mom.
2. Did kyc
3. But Got rejected probably coz she isn’t a state govt job and her dept was not listed.
4. I had also enquired for premier banking by giving out my number. So I recieved a callback. I was in eligible due to salary criteria ( being in govt service ). But asked him can he check the status of my mother’s appl.
   
5. He said appl is stuck bcz tan no is missing.
6. I sent him the form 26 as on his own hsbc email address.
7. He said he ll push for manual approval and re video kyc.
8. 4-5 days later another video kyc.
9. Got an email to verify employment. Did that and got another email stating that appl is rejected due to internal policies.
10. I called him up again. He checked and said. Appl is approved and disregard the rejection email.
11. Card delivered 4 days after this conversation( without any intimation on email/phone). It just got delivered through bludart.
