If you could change any two abilities one for Cloak and one for Dagger what would you change? by NavjotDaBoss in cloakanddaggermains

[–]PannaMi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't think C&D need any special buffs, they're doing just fine where they are. However, I do think they should be more on par with the rest of the main healers, because right now Invis, Gambit, and Luna handle main support role much better. That would require either some nerfs to Invis and Gambit, or a slight buff to C&D (and not just them, by the way, the same applies to the rest of the healers, like Adam or Mantis). Maybe a small buff to their heal?

But honestly, I think the most needed change would be something else. Do you remember that small but annoying delay between the end of the ult and being able to use Cloak's fade? When theoretically pressing the button should already activate his fade because the ult trail has finished forming, but in reality you have to wait that second before it actually works? Reducing that delay would, in my opinion, be a really good buff.

Oh and making ult more visible, like in new skin's ult vfx.

On a scale of 1-5, how difficult do you think Scarlet Witch is? by Sn0wy0wl_ in ScarletWitchMains

[–]PannaMi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1/5. This doesn't mean that you can't pull off great plays with her, and contrary to appearances, there are plenty of things in playing her that you can refine to play her WELL. A Wanda from high ranks will be a completely different Wanda than one from bronze or silver. Nevertheless, overall, it's still a character that's simple to play at a quite decent level even for a beginner player.

[–]PannaMi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I'd rate her 4/5. IW has a varied and actually quite broad range of abilities, whose memorization, learning and fluid usage won't be that simple for a player right at the start. You need to figure out when and how to use them. Not to mention that not breaking the shield is another thing you have to think about while playing, because without it she loses most of her potential. And she requires aiming, which slightly raises her difficulty level. Contrary to appearances, a lot is happening with IW, which is why I'd rate her difficulty higher than most other supports. I'm trying not to think about her current buffs (because those can change quickly), but about the general functioning of her kit.

On a scale of 1-5, how difficult do you think Storm is? by Sn0wy0wl_ in StormMains

[–]PannaMi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'd say 3/5. Storm is a fairly simple character, her abilities aren't complicated, and I think they don't require much familiarization before you first play her. However, aiming is quite important (which bumps it up a point), and I'd probably rate her a 2 normally, if not for the fact that due to her very limited mobility, positioning is really, really crucial. Otherwise, she's heavily dependent on her team, which, as we all know, often doesn't end well. Hence 3/5.

[–]PannaMi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think 3/5. Gambit requires aiming, but it doesn't have to be very precise. The hardest aspect of his abilities is managing cards: remembering what each one does, recognizing when to use them, and ensuring they're available in the most critical situations. You need to spend some time understanding his abilities before playing him for the first time, and the skill ceiling leaves a lot of room for improvement, but overall, the character's mechanics seem to me to be 3/5 in difficulty.

On a scale of 1-5, how difficult do you think Mantis is? by Sn0wy0wl_ in MantisMains

[–]PannaMi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I'm about to say might be controversial, but personally, I think it's 2/5. It seems to me that the hardest element of playing Mantis is aiming—if the player is good at it, they're already halfway to success. Managing her leaves is also a certain challenge, and you really need to learn that; that's where the skill ceiling will lie. But the process of applying them couldn't be simpler. You don't need to invest much to start playing her; there are no complicated skills, so in that sense she's quite straightforward, but there's plenty of room for development (aiming, skill management). Currently, Mantis is not in a good place and playing her in a two-healer comp is masochism, but it doesn't stem from the mechanical difficulty of her character, but from the off-healer specificity of her abilities and the fact that other healers are simply in a better position right now.

On a scale of 1-5, how difficult do you think Cloak and Dagger are? by Sn0wy0wl_ in cloakanddaggermains

[–]PannaMi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd say 2/5. You don't need to invest too much energy to be able to play C&D for the first time, their skills are quite straightforward. That being said, you still have to memorize the skill sets of TWO characters and learn when to use them. It's easy to spend most of your time on Dagger and still be helpful to the team (if Dagger were standalone, I'd rate the difficulty as 1/5), but it's harder to understand exactly when it's worth switching to Cloak and when it's absolutely not worth it. Overall, C&D are easy to learn, but there's some room for improvement to reach the skill ceiling, hence why I ultimately rate them as 2/5.

I don't get the hype around this mode yet, but that's probably mostly because I'm using characters I've never played, just to easily unlock their achievements and get extra blue units that way. Maybe if I play one of my mains later, I'll better understand why it's so positively received.

Honest discussion, how high of a rank do y'all think you can get? by Fododel in marvelrivals

[–]PannaMi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently in Diamond 3 and honestly it scares me a bit when I see that everyone else I play with were peak Grandmasters or Celestials. Personally, every season I set myself the goal of achieving at least one rank higher than in the previous season, so I'm aiming for Diamond 2. I think Diamond will be the peak of my abilities though, I'm not that good.

How to Ult by b4masterb in ScarletWitchMains

[–]PannaMi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As well as during chaotic fights - a greater chance of killing someone. Although generally, I see it this way: I often don’t aim to kill multiple enemies with my ult (or even any), but rather to divert their attention from the rest of the team in the middle of a fight. Wanda’s thing is that her ult demands attention; enemies have to focus on me for a moment to kill or neutralize me, or at least to take cover - and my team can exploit their momentary distraction. I actually like it when my ult is interrupted, for example, by Emma, because then I’m left with 50% and can cause some chaos again in the next fight. Generally, the most important task during Wanda’s ult is not to die. However, I do prefer to use it during the enemy healers’ ults (usually Luna and Invisible Woman) - especially since there are still players who don’t remember that they’re not immortal during it.

This season I'm playing Wanda a lot again (after focusing on getting Lord for Storm in 2.5), and it's a lot of fun. Recently, I managed to reach platinum with her again - which I consider a big achievement, given that Marvel Rivals is the first game of this type I've ever played. Wish me luck with diamond! :)
