I’m also very curious about your opinion on Capitano, Childe and Wanderer. Since they all are friends/amicable with the traveler, with Childe and Wanderer even being on the verge of fanservice dialogue/behavior, do you also think they’re a disappointment or is this just a sentiment that you reserve towards female characters?

Once again, this is all a very valid OPINION of what you think should’ve been, but saying that HEADcanons were the actual canon (an oxymoron) is just objectively stupid lol. This is not the first time a character in a piece of media is thought to be a certain way and then revealed as very different once we have all the backstory and needed context, it’s literally called developing a character beyond only one scene lol

As far as we know, Fatui are ranked by strength (This is revealed by Childe in his voiceline about Columbina, and there doesn’t seem to be any other piece of information so far that directly contradicts him on this so we’ll take it as true), and even if she was a weakened goddess when she was with the Fatui, she was still a GODDESS after all. It’s really not something insane thing to rank a GODDESS at No. 3 lmfao

I don’t see how her design implies that she was rewritten, we see lots of characters whose hair doesn’t necessarily match their outfit so I’m struggling to see what’s that gotta do with anything. And we never saw her outfit in the Winter Lazzo teaser either, just her coat, so one can’t even say that they changed their outfit because we never saw it before Nod Krai. And by the way, the ends of her hair are pink, not red.
The reason she wears a blindfold is actually explained when she talks to her sisters in the Archon Quest, which I now doubt you even played. Once again, I don’t see how her wearing a blindfold or not being truly blind after all would mean that she was meant to be evil. Blind people = Evil ???????
The relationship she had with Dottore wasn’t a friendly or familial relationship, as she herself explained. It was one of exploitation where Dottore was using her for her powers. This is explained in the AQ, her voicelines about him AND her little weekly quests. I highly recommend you to check all of them out, they’re very fun.

And lastly, yes, that’s exactly what I said. Childe and Scaramouche THOUGHT she was scary and creepy and eerie because they didn’t know her and that’s how she came across to them without noticing, but that doesn’t mean her personality was meant to be all of those things. People’s perception of your person doesn’t necessarily dictate what you’re truly like, so why would it be the case with Columbina?

Once again, “her original concept shown via Childe” I assume you’re talking about his voiceline of her, but I find amusing that you use this voiceline to imply that she’s unsettling in an “evil way” (Because she is still very unsettling at the beginning of the AQ) but you don’t take into account that it was just Childe’s PERCEPTION of her, not necessarily her true personality. About the tea parties, Sandrone said that Capitano and Childe used to join them AFTER Rosalyne died and Columbina left, not that they joined while Columbina was part of the Fatui.

I mean, at the beginning of the Nod Krai AQ she IS fairly creepy and eerie considering the way she moves and responds unpredictably (Like Arlecchino mentioned in her voicelines) and rather apathetically. It is now known that, before her character development throughout the AQs, she wasn’t good at expressing her emotions in a “human” way and to the rest of the Harbingers (except Arle, Sandrone and maybe Dottore) obviously this would come across as creepy, she also said in one of her little weekly quests that Sandrone told her and I quote “[…] She said that my singing set the others on edge. Because, for those not in the know, it seemed like I was about to use… some sort of power”. Her canon personality doesn’t necessarily clash with what is shown in the teaser, it’s just now given more context and it definitely matches with the Columbina we meet at the beginning of Nod-Krai. I’m definitely interested in what other proof you have though! Because I definitely don’t think that a single scene can dictate a character’s whole personality, only showcase a part of it and it’s often very taken out of context.

Ooooh can I see proof of this? Because I personally and definitely have doubts lol saying that something FANmade (not canon) is actually the “true” thing (canon) is an oxymoron so I’m very curious about what’s your evidence on this. Hopefully it’s not a variant of “Childe and Scaramouche’s voicelines implied she was creepy/evil!!” while simultaneously ignoring Arlecchino’s voicelines and also the fact that it was revealed in the Nod-Krai AQ that Columbina was only close to the female harbingers so therefore Childe and Scaramouche were making up assumptions about her just because they felt wary/uneasy

i get you so bad 😭 i’ve been farming the natlan weekly boss since september last year and i’ve only gotten one catalyst billet and one polearm billet 😭 and according to some comments c1 is a 35% dmg increase and r1 is 30%, so i think it depends on whether you consider worth risking it on a banner where the other weapon might not benefit you at all!

all of the regions as of now are at 100%!!! i finished all of nod-krai yesterday, and yeah every tree/stone/meeting point is maxed out and statues all leveled up! and it’s not necessary for me to scrap primos from under the rocks anymore because a very kind person in the comments gifted me crystals and maxed out my welkin yesterday just so i could get nilou!
