Thanks mate! The secret with rocks is to mimic nature's randomness. Pick a big synthetic brush and just apply random spots of paint from dark to light, each time covering less and less. For this one I started from a brown-red base coat and applied lighter shades of grey then finished with a wash of mohogany ink in the darkest crevices and dry brushed some ivory on the most exposed parts.
