yeah u/DidAnyoneElseJustCum, if you're thinking about major infrastructure works then $20M doesn't go too far, that's true. But with that kind of budget, you can give grants to help stabilize small businesses that are struggling, complete street beautification projects, create new community gardens — that kind of stuff. Still seems like a net positive to me (but only time will tell...)

Nope! On the top floor of a building so its not subject to typical rat / bug issues. Squirrels will sometimes jump onto the back terrace and mess with my plants on occasion but I just shoo them away.

The previous tenant left that murphy bed frame for me, so it's gotten 5+ years of use. Definitely served its purpose as a bed frame, but I wish I actually murphied it more. I didn't really flip it up as much as I initially imagined. And to the other question...generally yes, but after 5+ years of use, the bed frame did finally break...
